Personal Protective Equipment, such as gloves, footwear and face masks,
is vital to ensuring the safety and to protecting the health of its wearer.

PPE must:

  • bear the CE marking
  • be suitable for the risk to be prevented and the user’s ergonomic and health requirements
  • be accompanied by clear instructions for use written in the user’s language

All PPE is subject to the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and, at national level, of Italian Legislative Decree no.17 of 19 February 2019, which defines the applicable fines for non-conforming PPE.
