Personal Protective Equipment, such as gloves, footwear and face masks,
is vital to ensuring the safety and to protecting the health of its wearer.

PPE must:

  • bear the CE marking
  • be suitable for the risk to be prevented and the user’s ergonomic and health requirements
  • be accompanied by clear instructions for use written in the user’s language

All PPE is subject to the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and, at national level, of Italian Legislative Decree no.17 of 19 February 2019, which defines the applicable fines for non-conforming PPE. 


Because we are a Notified Body (no. 0465 for the EC certification of PPE for the feet, legs, arms, hands and respiratory tract, authorised by the Ministry of Economic Development and by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy.
